  • Developing her fine motor coordination
  • Developing her Hand-eye coordination
  • Learn how to master her crayon and pencil control.
In a few months my daughter is going to a primary school(Elementary) Yey!.
She is excited and cannot wait, because she can join her brother and feeling like a big girl now!

The same as what the all the other mother do -- i am preparing her so that she won't struggle.

Homemade Playdough Recipe

Playdough is one of great activity for children.

You can make it in different colors and is good for children sensory play.  As parents, I am sure you know how short is the attention span of our little cutie. With playdough, it's amazing how they can play in much longer time.

I love to see their creations of how they manipulate and mold the dough. It showed how big are the children's imaginations, they love to showcase their wonderful creation too.

Here's the Play Dough Recipe that I have been using for a while. -- I love this particular recipe because it has a very soft texture and not sticky compared to the other recipe that I have been tried.

LONG LASTING PLAYDOUGH
  • Combine in one bowl (Bowl 1):
  1. Flour - 2 1/2 cup
  2. Salt - 1/2 cup
  3. Cream of tartar - 2 tablespoons
    • In the 2nd bowl combine (Bowl 2):
      1. 2 tablespoon of cooking oil
      2. food coloring (Any color you desired)
            •  Top up the bowl with boiling water to make a total combined mix of 2 cups (Make sure to be EXACT!)
Combine the two bowls of ingredients (Bowl 1 + Bowl 2).  Knead and store at room temperature in airtight container (I used ice cream container - it is really good to keep your playdough soft for longer.  It will last for months to end.

What more can you add to your play dough?
        1. Glitters
        2. Googly eyes
        3. Beads
        4. If you like your play dough to smell nice, you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oils. "Eucalyptus, lemon, lavender etc..."

Enjoy this limitless fun through playdough!
